Surrealist Perspectives

This week we have begun to take a look at one point/two point perspectives and how surrealist artists create "dreamlike" or unreal worlds in their artworks. Students have been practicing the difference between one and two point perspectives to choose for their first surrealist perspective project. We have also taken a look at how surrealism can be created through juxtaposition, scale, levitation, dislocation and transparency of the objects within a work. I'm excited to see which strategy each student will choose as they combine their ideas on surrealism and perspective!
